Above and to the right of the main entrance door is an excellent large painting of what I think is green Amoghasiddhi, the Dhyani Buddha of the north, in the mudra of fearlessness. British architect John Sanday on Thubchen gompa: "I began to realize how fantastic the wall paintings actually were. They are fifteenth century, they are priceless. These are masterpieces."
